Join Dallas Composite Squadron
The Civil Air Patrol's Dallas Composite Squadron is based at the Business Jet Center at Love Field. Our members include adults of all ages and youth aged 12-20 interested in leadership development, aerospace/STEM, physical fitness, and search-and-rescue. Adult members volunteer their time as pilots and emergency services volunteers. Some have military experience or aviation experience, but many do not. They may choose to participate in emergency services to aid the community in times of crisis or act as mentors for cadets. Cadets make friends across Dallas and its surrounding communities, Texas, and the nation while exploring aerospace via free orientation flights in gliders and Cessna light aircraft, model rocketry, unmanned aerial vehicles and more.
We are looking for committed cadets and senior members who want to volunteer their time to help Civil Air Patrol achieve its missions. We help cadets gain confidence and develop leadership skills that will serve them throughout their lives. Our senior members come from many backgrounds and contribute to activities in each of the Civil Air Patrol's missions: Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs and Emergency Services.
To learn more, please join us at our next meeting or email Deputy Commander for Cadets Capt. Alex Rose or Squadron Commander Capt. Michael Brown.
